The Museo ng Kaalamáng Katutubò presents The End of the Pose: The Rise and Demise of Studio Photography by Mr. John L. Silva, Executive Director, Ortigas Library.

Through the use of vintage photographs from early 20th century until prior to the Second World War, the rise of photography studios and the culture of posing in a studio setting gained popularity until the advent of portable hand held cameras and the wider scope of photo taking outside a studio. The historian John Silva traces the rise and the later decline of photography studios in a country with greater access to, skills and aesthetic with cameras.
